…from Boston Comic-Con! I’m really bad at taking pictures of the sketches I do for people at shows. I always forget, and if folks like to hang out and wait for their pieces, I get all nervous and hurry because I’m being watched. But anyway, here are a few I did just because, and they are available for you to take home!

A watermelon is no match for Wolverine- the dude just plain don’t mess.

I haven’t seen or read The Hunger Games, but Katniss seems pretty neat so I drew her. I think maybe it looks like her? I’ll revisit her once I know what I’m talking about.

Rogue and Gambit! I hear they are in love.

So in addition to all the Mass Effect 3 hullabaloo, BioWare also announced the cancellation of a Dragon Age 2 expansion pack. They’re going to focus their efforts on Dragon Age 3 and that’s fine or whatever but man, no more Isabela. For now, at least- I’m hoping DA3 is full of, you know, all my favorite characters, which would pretty much be everyone except Sten. And Oghren. And Fenris. Anyway, in my grief over the announcement, I did this sketchcard.

Mass Effect 3 Extended Cut

BioWare recently announced some post-game cutscenes and epilogue-y material to provide unhappy Mass Effect 3 fans with “clarity and closure”. Here’s what I’m expecting to see based on the final scene I got in the game!

Le big news: it was recently announced that Womanthology is going to be an ongoing series of 3-issue minis. The first mini-series is Space and I am going to be a part of it, woo! I am so super psyched. Look at this gorgeous- DANG GORGEOUS- cover by Renae De Liz.

In other Womanthology news, it’s getting terrific (and well-deserved) reviews. It really is a beautiful book.

Annnnnd I’ll be doing a couple of related signings- one at Casablanca Comics in Portland ME on Saturday, March 24, and one at Hub Comics in Somerville MA on Saturday, March 31. Come say hello! I am far less interesting in person, but way more awkward, so it all balances out.

Do comics count as fanfiction?

Regardless, as a big fan of the Indoctrination Theory regarding the…mmm, controversial ending for Mass Effect 3, I decided to just make the ending I want in a goldurn comic. Spoilers, obviously, if you care about that sort of thing!
